One:
Supporting you through your cancer journey
Coping with cancer is like trying to solve a complex jigsaw puzzle without the picture.
This program is designed to help you piece it together, from diagnosis to the end of treatment.
If you are scared by cancer or want help to forge a path through the jungle then Programme one is for you.
I can support you through the journey of diagnosis, treatment, side effects, emotional distress and help you find ways to cope and navigate your way through the challenges of cancer and your life. I can be a sounding board as I have lived through most of what you are going through.
The programme includes:
- Looking at where you are now.
- Tools for coping with your cancer diagnosis and how to come to terms with it.
- Being involved with your treatment should you want to be.
- Practicalities of managing your life.
- Processing your emotions.
- Empowering yourself and managing your wellbeing during treatment.
- Physical and mental recovery.
Two:
Moving on with your life after cancer
This programme is designed to help you get over perhaps the biggest surprise or disappointment of your life so far. After all the treatment you are left, where? You are thinking what now? How can I move on? Where can I move on to?
Cancer can rock your foundations and when everyone else in your life has moved on after your treatment, it can be a lonely place to be.
This program will help you discover the new you. You have an opportunity to completely re invent yourself or simply just move on so cancer is in your rear view mirror and you can stop living in fear.
During the discovery session I will run through what you can expect from the programme.
Three:
Supporting yourself and a loved one
Helping you to help your special someone whilst nurturing yourself
This programme is designed to help you support a loved one through cancer whilst being mindful to look after yourself.
It will give you tools to do both these tasks and help you and your loved one to cope with this difficult time.
Four:
Coming to terms with loss, and moving on
What would the first steps be to getting some kind of normality back in your life? With the best will in the world this will be hard. Perhaps it will be the hardest thing you have ever done - but it can be done
Faced with the loss of a loved one you only have two choices: carry on as best you can or succumb to grief.
Whilst succumbing is tempting, after a while the practicalities of life have to be dealt with.
I can help support you through this difficult time and face the challenges that will inevitably be there.
